Introduction
Anthem Day is an event rider currently operating out of Watkins Farm in Cartersville, GA . Anthem has been riding since childhood and specializes in teaching children and adult amateurs in a family-friendly environment. At the center of her philosophy on horsemanship is the use of mindfulness and its application to achieve a harmonious partnership with the horse.
Early Years
As a child growing up in West Georgia, Anthem started riding at a young age competing extensively in eventing in Area 3.
Anthem took a break from horses for a few years, but found her passion called her back to the sport and Anthem Day Eventing was born.
Continuing Education
Anthem dedicates a considerable amount of her time to continuing education, taking weekly lessons from 5* eventer Michael J. Pollard, and trips to Ocala to train with 5* eventer Elisa Wallace. She is able to pass this knowledge to her students.
Mustang Training
Anthem adopted her mustang, Lucien, in 2020 from Clover Mountains, NV. She gentled and trained him for the TIP Competition held in Georgia that summer. They finished in the Top Ten for in-hand training with just 90 days out of the wild.
Anthem then started him under saddle and trained him in Dressage and Eventing where they competed through First Level and earned Starter Level Champion in Georgia for 2022. Lucien is now a member of her lesson program where he is adored by her young riders.
Watkins Farm
Anthem currently trains out of Watkins Farm located in Cartersville, GA. Watkins Farm is conveniently located 2 miles off I-75.
Watkins Farm is on 90 beautiful acres and features a cross country field and jump course. Stall/pasture and overnight board is available.

We have had an amazing experience at Anthem Day Eventing with our new horse Zephyr! Anthem helped us make the connection to purchase him and saw to every detail to help us bring Zephyr home! I never have to worry on days we don't make it to the barn because I know Anthem takes care of all of the horses as if they were her own. Anthem is also very responsive when I have questions and has helped tremendously in working with Zephyr to continue his training. We love spending time at the barn and truly feel we have a "barn family" there!
