Who’s looking for a real live unicorn? And by unicorn, I do not mean a saint of a mare by any means, but more the fact that she’s utterly beautiful like a unicorn. Paris is her name and she stands at 14.3 hh, and built like a brick sh*thouse. This mare can carry any rider.. the perfect husband horse or ladies’ mount, as long as said lady can be appropriately assertive and take zero attitude from said unicorn.
We’re unsure of her exact age, but vet-aged at about 14 years old. Paris’ education under saddle has been minimal at best and certainly started later in life. She’s solid walk/trot, but the canter is a feat of the rider’s fitness. Paris is in no hurry, ever. She would make a fine trail horse or possibly working equitation.. she’s certainly not a sport horse which leads us to her current place in my sales line up. She can be squealy and pissy about actual work but she’s not athletic enough to get even the most largely inexperienced rider off. A rider with a soft hand and tactful approach can easily shape her into whatever recreational discipline they choose. The only caveat to Paris’s next home is that we must make sure that her next owner can set the right tone with her and have a take-no-sh*t approach to horsemanship. Paris’s relationships with humans in her past can lead her to question who’s in charge, but once that’s determined, she’s as sweet as they come. Bottom of the herd and a VERY easy keeper. Barefoot and zero maintenance.
