14.1h pony mare. 12yo. ‘Savana’ can go English or Western. This little rockstar of a pony has jumped up to 3’ with ease. She naturally has good form over fences and a wicked hind end. She absolutely loves to jump and you can see it on her face as she locks on to fences with ears pricked. She maintains a forward canter without making her rider feel run away with. On the flat, she goes round easily walk,trot,canter. She is a cute mover with good impulsion and will catch the judge’s eye in the dressage arena. She hacks out quietly and is great in open fields and trails. Savana is on the braver side-not spooky. She’s clearly had some Western training as she neck reins beautifully, pivots in both directions, and backs up softly. She loads like a champ on any trailer. Goes in an eggbutt snaffle. Wears two front shoes, but may not need them if living where there’s less gravel than here at her current home. She’s been used in lesson programs, and is the same with all different riders, but I feel like she deserves her own person who will enjoy her talents and love her for the gem that she is. Easy keeper with no maintenance required.
